SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE

Honor Song examines how an often overlooked relevance of Lewis and Clark is our dream of shaping a new nation from many cultures. It pays respect to the slave, York, the guide, Sacagewea and the Native American communities who made their achievements possible.

The musical workshop documented in this film brought together multi-cultural artists and communities filling theaters in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. As an Outreach Program, it spawned residencies, workshops and presentation with diverse partners, educational institutions and Museums.

MISSION

To continue to engage students and teachers with diverse perspectives, fostered new relationships with multicultural and scholastic audiences throughout the United States.
